Hi, my name is Michelle and I am The Happy Teapot.

I live in the beautiful southwest town of Pinjarra, Western Australia with my husband Terry. I am a mother of three grown children and a grandmother of five precious grandchildren, which is such a wonderful honour.

My ‘health’ journey started back in 2011, when I decided I needed to shape up and make some nutritional changes to my lifestyle. A few years later I found myself studying Health Coaching and as I became more aware of the importance of ‘clean living’, I did further studies in the area of gut health. Knowledge has power, as they say, and what I learnt has changed the way I live, eat, and play, for the better.

I love to drink tea! And when you drink the right tea, it’s not only refreshing but it’s incredibly nourishing and uplifting for your health. When I go hiking, which is a favourite pastime of mine, I almost always have my tea thermos in my pack, filled with a refreshing herbal tea to give me the pick-me-up I need to keep going. Herbal teas have been used medicinally for centuries and as people become more aware of what they put in their bodies they’re also embracing this ancient wisdom.

When our personal circumstances changed in 2020 and I had to leave my job of 14 years, it’s been a challenge to find employment in something that brings joy and satisfaction. So, when the opportunity came before me to partner with Herbal Teas Australia, my heart did a leap and I knew this was the answer to what I was looking for.

I have named my business The Happy Teapot because that’s exactly the emotion I hope it evokes in you, the consumer. HAPPINESS! Drinking tea should always be a happy encounter. It’s a simple pleasure which can be enjoyed in every season of life, on your own, or with other tea lovers.
